The BnB in our name is a nod to the sharing economy, which has disrupted our economy in profound ways. Now we’re harnessing that power to disrupt our politics and finally form a government that is truly “of the people, by the people, for the people.” And not just the wealthy at the helm of Trump’s administration.
The BnB Liberation Movement is launching with “FeelthepainBOY,” a travel boycott against the 13 original Confederate Red States (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky and Missouri)
Money speaks louder than words. So we’re putting capitalism to work for us and redirecting our hard-earned dollars to the places and business who stand with us. For example, we’ll unveil the Obama's Chicago Adventure soon, supporting his presidential library and employing people living on the South Side with our AfroBnB and Afrocentrics Adventures divisions to make sure they benefit when the millions of tourists come.
We are smart enough to know that the old economy is dead and we refuse to be sheeple for the the United States of Corporatocracy. The sharing economy is the future. We can't stop the quest for automation and higher profits, but we can shape our future by banding together to punish those who seek to harm us and reward those who seek to help.
Because as students of history, we know that if we don't speak up and take action today, we will continue to suffer the erosion of our rights and the loss of our children. America’s Red States think we’ve moved past their history of atrocities. But we’re experiencing a fresh wave with the Trump presidency—from the Muslim ban and call for a border wall to to trying to dismantle Obamacare in order to give the wealthiest Americans a tax break to firing every person who’s dared investigate his likely collusion with Russia and trying to discredit the free press. We’ve even isolated ourselves from the rest of the world by leaving the Paris Climate Agreement. Every day a new story breaks that further horrifies us. And we are fighting back.
DNC, you should be talking to the people in the trenches and preparing us for the upcoming cultural war. As millions of people continue to take to the streets during this presidency, it's not to stand up with the DNC. It's to demand that the DNC stands up with us.
If you are on the right side of history, join us in our fight. We don't need donations—we just need your commitment. We need you to join our #FeelThePainBOY travel boycott. With Trump as president, we must hold our children close and our wallets even closer.
The arc of history doesn’t bend toward justice on its own—we have to pull it together.
